Frequently Asked Questions

We get it. New places, new spaces, and new faces can be intimidating. Here's what you can expect on a Sunday morning at Faith.

What are the Sunday Service Times?

Our current service schedule will be one in-person service at 9:00 am as well as a live stream during the Sunday service. Approximately one-half of every service is devoted to the public preaching of God's Word; the other half consists of singing, prayer, readings, offering, communion, and a variety of announcements. Recent sermons can be downloaded or streamed on our Sermons page.

Are there any Sunday Bible studies?

Throughout the school year, we have Bible studies for everyone ages two and up.
Sunday School classes are available for children ages 2 through 5th grade.

What is the music like?

First and foremost, we prioritize the content of our songs over the musical style of our songs, so we sing music with the best lyrics we can find. From that foundation of rich hymnody and lyricism, we strive to incorporate musical elements from different generations in our worship services to encourage everyone in attendance to participate in the worship of God together. A variety of instruments, from electric guitar to cello, and voices of all ages help to guide our worship in music on Sunday mornings.

To learn more about the songs we sing and why we sing them, contact Pastor Web Gehring.

Is there a place for my kids?

YES! We love kids! Children under the age of two are welcome in the nursery on the main floor during our 10:00 am worship service. During the worship service, we also offer Children's Church for children between the ages of two and five. Learn more about children’s ministry here!

Please ask a greeter for directions if you need help finding the classrooms!

 Where are you located?

Our neighborhood is great. Located in central Grand Forks just off South Washington Street on 24th Avenue South, we think we've got a prime spot in the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ. If you're coming from South Washington, turn west at Caribou Coffee and look to your right. If you're coming from the West on 24th Avenue, we're on your left. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

Which door do I use?

On Sundays, only three of our five doors are open for security reasons. On the south end of the building, off 24th Avenue, doors #1 and #2 are our most heavily trafficked entrances and offer the greatest access to parking. Door #1, also off of 24th Avenue, has a lift for wheelchair access. On the north end of the building, off Library Circle, door #5 is right up against a circle driveway. Accessible parking for those with disabilities is available at all three doors, but only door #5 is without stairs or a curb up to the building. Additionally, door #5 has an automatic, button-operated door for ease of access.
