Discipleship Ministries
Real people meeting the real God in real relationships.
Our desire is to disciple adults into mature and devoted followers of Jesus. We have several opportunities for adults to learn the Word of God! On Sundays, our Faith Fellowship Groups learn about God’s Word from our elders. Throughout the week, during the school year, we have Bible studies for men and women.

Crossroads
This year’s “Majoring in the Minors” study will cover seven Minor Prophets: Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. Called “Minor” only for their shorter length, these books are equally important as the Major Prophets. They reveal truths about justice, joy, God’s sovereignty, and love, emphasizing faithfulness and trust in His promises. They also offer hope and point us to Jesus, making them a valuable and meaningful part of Scripture.
Anchored
Anchored ended Spring 2025 studying God’s saving work in Ephesians 1. This Fall, the group will review that message using Greg Gilbert’s What is the Gospel? before continuing their study of Ephesians. The focus will be on deepening understanding of God’s magnificent grace and learning how to live out that grace in a fallen world, building on the foundation laid in the previous semester’s exploration of the Apostle Paul’s teaching in the letter to the Ephesians.
Foundations
This study will explore biblical instructions for cultivating godly marriages, focusing on love, understanding, and honoring God in the relationship. Participants will encourage one another toward growth, whether working through marital struggles or seeking to strengthen an already healthy marriage. Rooted in Ephesians 5:25–33, the sessions will provide practical guidance and spiritual encouragement to help couples reflect Christ’s love in their marriages, aiming to build relationships that glorify God and foster a deeper connection between husband and wife.
Steadfast
Steadfast will be exploring the Five Books of Moses as divine instructions for life, revealing God’s character, will, and desires. More than laws, Torah includes history, stories, wisdom, and poetry. This study examines their doctrine, relevance, and practical application, showing that ancient people were human like us. Viewed in light of all Scripture, the Torah offers guidance for living faithfully in today’s changing, chaotic world. Participants will engage, discover, and appreciate its practical and apologetic value for believers in 2025.

Faithfully, every Monday afternoon, a group of us meets for prayer in room 209. All are welcome to join us in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ, our church, our community, and our country. Contact us if you have questions!
By Heart Bible Memorization
Have you left Scripture memorization behind in your discipleship? Do you think that you "just can't memorize?" Do you know more passwords than God's Word? If so, consider getting Scripture memory work into your daily time with the Lord. "By Heart" is a small group that is serious about Scripture memory. When you join "By Heart," you will choose a passage you'd like to learn and share your progress and memorization roadblocks. You'll be able to share how God uses what you have memorized. You will learn from others' approaches to memorizing Scripture. "By Heart" is definitely a "no pressure" approach to Scripture memory and meets every other Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the church Lounge.
On March 22, 2025, we hosted our first all-church conference, featuring pastor and author Dr. Andy Naselli. Dr. Naselli led us through what it means to have a sincere and pure devotion to Christ, using 2 Corinthians 11:3 as our Scripture text.
“But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” (ESV)
