Student Ministries

Our middle and high school students get together frequently to develop deeper friendships and a deeper understanding of the Word of God. We even have our own meeting room, "The Garage," located just across the street from the main church building at 2314 Library Circle, Grand Forks.

Throughout the summer we're meeting on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm to have fun, and pray together.

Our big ticket of the week during the school year is Youth Group on Wednesday nights. Middle Schoolers meet from 5:45 pm to 7:30 pm and High Schoolers meet from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday in The Garage.

Also during the school year, on Sundays we have two different Sunday School classes, one for high school and one for middle school. High Schoolers meet in The Garage between our services, and Middle Schoolers meet in their classroom in the church basement.

We frequently have other events going on, including trips, service projects, fun nights, and more.

Children's Church is available during our Worship service.* Children two years old through kindergarten are invited to rooms 111 and 112 on the lower level.
*Children's Church is not available on the 5th Sunday of the month or on holiday weekends.

Wednesday Night Awana

We have a full Awana program for children ages two through 5th Grade. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights (6:00pm-7:30pm) during the school year.  Awana focuses on Scripture memorization. Students memorize to hide God’s Word in their heart! They also have the opportunities to earn prizes, enjoy games and participate in a Bible lesson each week. We encourage children to bring friends and bring their Bibles.

Parents, for a comprehensive look at our Awana program, please read the Awana Parent Information Letter

Elementary Kids' Choir

During the school year Kids' Choir meets on Wednesday nights from 5:20pm-5:50pm. This group is open to all students in 1st through 5th Grade. The choir has an opportunity to serve the church by singing during the worship services on a monthly basis. They learn a variety of music from traditional hymns to some newer arrangements both of which proclaim the wonder of who God is! It’s a joy to use our voices to proclaim God’s greatness and point others to Him!

Adult Ministries

Our desire at Faith is to help adults grow in their faith in the context of significant relationships.  To that end we offer a variety of ways to study the Bible and get connected with others through Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Prime Timers, and Life Groups.

Men's Ministries

We have several Bible studies, book studies, and small groups at multiple times a week at various times of day.  We regularly hold Men's Fellowship Breakfasts on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:00 am.  See what's going on in Men's Ministries →

Women's Ministries

Like Men's Ministries, Women's Ministries gathers for relationships, Bible, and book studies multiple times a week in several capacities.  "Mug & Muffins" time, an open house format event in various homes, is held monthly on a Saturday morning in a church member's home. See what's going on in Women's Ministries →

Prime Timers

The Prime Timers are a committed group of saints in our midst over the age of 55. They gather every Wednesday morning for a time of Bible study and quarterly for a meal and fellowship. See what's going on with the Prime Timers →

Life Groups

Life Groups are our small groups of six to twelve people. These groups meet periodically in host homes or other locations and are designed to help believers grow spiritually through healthy Christian relationships. Our goal is to have a variety of groups (including life-stage groups, gender groups and mixed groups) that spend time each week reflecting on the Word of God, growing in relationships, and doing life together.

College and Career Ministries

Sunday Morning Classes

Our College and Career group meets each Sunday morning at 9:50am in room 102. Join us as we walk through the Old Testament Prophets to gain a broad feel for God's Word through these books as we discuss how we apply that to our lives today.

College and Career Lunch

Bring a friend and be our guest for Sunday lunch the second Sunday of each month during the school year. There is no cost to students.  Just meet in the Fellowship Hall following the second worship service!

Mentoring for Ministry or Discipleship

We offer a wide range of ministry apprenticeships in the areas of children, youth, and ministries for those with gifts and interests in these areas. Our goal is to help you develop your spiritual gifts while you are here.

Missions

Sister Church in Olomouc, Czech Republic

Over the past couple of decades we have developed a close relationship with another church in the Czech Republic. We seek to support them regularly and were pleased to complete a financial campaign that enabled them to begin a building project in an old cinema building.
