Our desire is to see our middle and high school students (grades 6-12) become devoted followers of Jesus and share that love of Christ with everyone they meet. Our students get together frequently on both Wednesdays and Sundays to develop deeper friendships and gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God.

Weekly Gatherings

Wednesday Nights

Faith Student Ministry meets on Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for prayer, games, worship, and Bible study. We meet across from the main building (2314 Library Circle), and we invite all students in 6th through 12th grade to join us!

Concerning the relationship between loving God and loving Jesus, John Piper writes,

“You can’t have the one without the other. Loving Jesus is the test of whether you love God. Loving God is the test of whether you truly love Jesus.”

Beginning in the new year, our students will focus on the Gospels, specifically on the final week of Jesus’s life, why it is significant, and why it still matters today.  We will begin with Jesus entering Jerusalem on Sunday, March 29, AD 33, all the way up to Jesus’s appearance to the disciples and His ascension. Aiding us through this study is the book “The Final Days of Jesus.” by Andreas J. Köstenberger and Justin Taylor. We hope this study will cultivate a greater love for our Savior as we contemplate His love on the cross.

Sunday Mornings

The Scriptures have a great deal to say about young people. Many heroes of the faith were heroic in their youth, consider Josiah and Samuel, Daniel and his friends, David’s slingshot, or most importantly, Jesus’ questions in His Father’s house (Luke 2:46-49). Like their Lord, students (6th – 12th grade, 11-18-year-olds) increase in wisdom and stature, and – by God’s grace, in favor with God and man.

The uniqueness of their season of life as maturing children or young adults warrants special instruction. This is true, right, and good. After all, Paul gave Timothy and Titus specific instructions concerning young men and women in contrast to older men and older women (1 Tim 5:1-2, Titus 2:4-6).

Beginning Fall of 2024, our goal is for our student ministries to function like our adult Fellowship Groups on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We will read scripture, exhort, and teach (1 Timothy 4:13), pray, discuss, and devote ourselves to good works.

Senior Banquet

Praise God!

The time has come to give God thanks for the growth of our seniors at Faith Evangelical Free Church. Join us for a special banquet to honor the Lord's faithfulness to them and their accomplishments as we prayerfully entrust them to God's care for the journeys and joys of a life lived for the glory of God.

"I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds." (Psalm 9:1, ESV)

When you register, please note the distinction between graduate and guest. Students are welcome to bring their parents or siblings with them to this banquet, but please register all of them so we can provide space and food for them!

Contact Information and Volunteering

Declaring the Word of God and discipling students into mature and devoted followers of Christ is best done with many hands. We think that the most effective way to disciple students is to partner with their parents and other more seasoned saints in the faith. If you have an interest in serving with us for the sake of the Kingdom of God at work in the lives of students, then please reach out, and we’ll get you started on the application process.
